What a wonderful glamping experience!

What a wonderful glamping experience! The place was absolutely terrific! Our favorite part was roasting ‘mallows for s’mores over the fire, lounging in all the lovely little seating areas, and watching a movie via the projector right in the tent!!! The whole experience was amazing and we will definitely be back. Lila was a peach and was very hospitable and fun to chat with! We loved all the thoughtful details! I want to note for potential guests that while many “glants” (my new word for glamping-tents) require a trek to your vehicle, here you can park right next to the glant for ease and accessibility! Also a small yard right in front of the “glant” for our puppy to play and toss toys around! Everything was great and we can’t wait to return!

Our honeymoon was literally heaven.

Wow. Staying at Camp Heaven on our honeymoon was literally heaven. Not even sure where to begin! The drive to the property alone had my husband (eek!) and I taking in the most beautiful and scenic views I’ve seen in many years. Set in the midst of wine country – Camp Heaven is a quiet spot nestled into the hills and trees of Oregon. 15 minutes from “town” and 45 minutes from Portland. We stayed at the site that included a fire pit and access to the little barn.

The tent had a queen-sized bed that kept us perfectly comfortable in the morning “chill” – hey, we’re from Texas. All of your typical hotel amenities were provided which was a pleasant treat! Shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc. Coffee! Dishes, access to cookware. Firewood. They had everything. Am I even going to have enough space to fit this review? We were able to take a look at the rest of their property (as we happened to be the only guests at one point), and are super excited to stay at the other tents and tipis they have set up! Important to note – you may not want to shower indoors anymore after staying here. What a treat to have a hot (!) shower while simultaneously enjoying nature. (Don’t worry, the shower curtain keeps you covered.)

The toilet – once we figured it out – was great! I’m glad it wasn’t a… smelly/port a potty type toilet. You gotta see it to believe it. I’m not even going to try and describe how beautiful it was because I couldn’t begin to do it justice. Please just go and see it for yourself. Lila and Shawn, thank you again for being so kind and gracious. You’ve put so much work and love into your home, and it shows! We so look forward to coming back as soon as possible, and have already told ALL of our friends about Camp Heaven.
